The UT administration is conducted a 10 days Skill Training programme for interested candidates of Ladakh in Voice-Over and Dubbing. Renowned Indian actor and voice artist Uday Sabnis was the mentor for the sessions being conducted.
Uday Sabnis is an Indian actor and voice artist from Maharashtra who has worked in English, Hindi and Marathi language films and animated series. He has dubbed for international films like the Harry Potter series, the Mission Impossible series, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Hellboy, Batman Returns, Iron Man 3, X-Men, Troy, The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, Passengers, Thor: Ragnarok. He has also given his voice for animated series like Dexter’s Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls, Pumbaa in Timon and Pumbaa. The hit film ‘Pushpa’ was also dubbed by him.
In the 60 hours, spread over 10 days, the participants learnt:
- Voice modulation as per needs of the character or script.
- To comprehend the opportunities as a voice artist in the industry.
- To build a career as a voice artist, by turning their passion into profession.
